Portugal on stamps

This set, part of a series of issues commemorating the Portuguese Republic’s centenary on 5 October 2010, evokes some of the most important Republican ideals and projects.

The stamps were designed by Vasco Marques / Folk Design, lithographed by Cartor on enamelled paper sheets of 5×10 stamps, and issued on 5 October 2008. The stamps have perforation 12×11¾ and a Cross of the Order of Christ on the short side.
