Portugal on stamps

This issue commemorates the birth of the Nobel Prize winning neurologist António Egas Moniz in 1874.

The stamps were designed by the Post Office Art Department and circulated from 27 December 1974 to 31 December 1983. The Mint, in Lisbon, printed them in recess on plain paper sheets of 5×10 stamps with perforation 12.
