Portugal on stamps

This issue commemorates the death of diplomat, humanist, historian, and composer Damião de Góis in 1574.

The stamps were designed by the Post Office Art Department, and circulated from 5 April 1974 to 31 December 1983. The Mint, in Lisbon, lithographed them on glazed paper sheets of 10×10 stamps with perforation 12.
